STAY CATION

STAY CATION
If you are anything like us, life can sometimes get away from you and all of sudden everyday is planned and the next day something else starts and then next week and by the end of the month you have another  month ahead of you pretty much the same as the last.
This is when I start getting itchy feet and long for another holiday to break up the monotony.
Due to the need to constantly move homes, renovate and build, most of our funds end up going to something else around the house and again you become grounded and have another reason not to go on holiday.
So whats our solution…..The Stay cation.
We have just moved into our beautiful new home and even though its the smallest block of land we have ever been on we still managed to work in a necessary pool and fantastic Alfresco area.
The pool guys are coming back today to finish off the pool edging and then hubby is tackling the glass pool fencing all on his own……I love how clever he is.
A little of our inspiration below.
Can I suggest you consider going to a couple of different places while your on your vacation go to a couple of local tourist attractions that you would not normally go to and turn your mobiles and home phones off for a minimum 2 days…..just to try and get in the spirit.
Now all we have to do is find a way of hiding from our families while we are on our stay cation…
Have a great weekend

  1. Elements, no doubt your pool and alfresco will look fantastic when finished. We’re a bit like you, all of our funds always end up going to the ‘new house’, cos we always seem to have a ‘new house’, and we never end up going on hols.

Can’t wait to see the photos of the finished product, which will provide me further inspiration for our new pool and outdoor area.
