Navy Decor Love
So many loves in this one image.
If you follow trends or keep up with what’s going on in Colour and Design you may be aware that next year Indigo and rich colours will be trending.
These colours will be paired with Grey (the new brown) and other jewelled beauties.
Think Gold, Burgundy and Purple. But its the Navy that has caught my eye.
I am also a fan of colour being a statement not a mention.
So paint every wall not just a feature. This colour is perfect for bedrooms, I will explain more below.
They say Indigo or Navy effects intuition, its calming
and brings a sense of responsibility
Too much Blue can also make you feel emotional so keeping it uplifted with orange and pink will help add some fun and lighthearted moments in the room.
Its also said because of Navy’s calming effect it is not best utilised in task areas where you need to be working and busy. Maybe it could just keep me calm while entertaining as I usually get quite frazzled.
Adding a little bit of happy is always
good for the design soul.
