7 things in Pics
I thought today I would share a few little bits around my home
A 7 things about me in photos if you will.
This little computer knook you see is where I blog from and answer all my emails. I do most of my research for clients here….it is pretty much my desk, I generally don’t use my study as this little spot keeps me in view of the cherub playing, and watching his couple of shows in the morning…thankyou Ben10 for giving me some morning reprieve. I am also close to my coffee machine and breakfast if we get a bit peckish some extra breakfast.
Next to my study knook is my “under the stairs” area…..we are a little OCD on organisation.
A place for everything and everything has a place and all that….
This is also close by to grab and quickly dust, vac, sweep, iron all the must do’s in the morning
I can’t wait for the dirt outside to be a thing of the past. For now I am letting it go(in my mind)
This is our garage.
My husband suffers from the same OCD.
He loves plastic storage buckets, can’t you tell.
Before our mattress was delivered cherub informed me that there was a pillow for each of us and its
“very comfy mummy”
Yes that what it felt like sleeping on a blow up mattress for 6 weeks.
The mattress is now on the bed but we are still waiting for the bedsides, its now been 8 weeks. I hope I still love them when they get here.
This is a 2 part visual….
We had our new outdoor dining chairs arrive in this box, luckily there were 4 to a box so not too much wasted cardboard. We started cutting up the 1st box and then we noticed something when the box fell over.
A bit of gaffer tape and a stanley knife brought this little baby to life.
the big black marker didn’t quite make its mark but cherub didn’t mind one little bit….
He loved his new “cool truck”
Not long ago we went and visited some friends in Melbourne and can I just tell you, I looove the rooftop bars over there and wish we had something like that going on here.
There was a fashion parade of some local designers and a little market of their clothes.
Anyway I thought this was fitting to tell you all to have a great weekend and enjoy a juice in the sun somewhere.
Caio for now.
Elements – My kids love box construction as well, I have no doubt is their favourite part of furniture shopping and delivery! Have you seen Rolobox?
Have a great weekend!

A little bit of OCD goes a long way..I love how organised you are! I like the little computer nook too. And the cardboard car, so cute! Thank you so much for your lovely, lovely comment the other day. It was so interesting to learn more about everyone. Have a great weekend..Rachaelxx
You have a lovely home and sooooooooooo organised! Look at that garage!!!! If only…. You can never go wrong with a cardboard box can you. Kids can play with them for hours and leave the oh so expensive toy for dead! Have a great weekend.
I know what you mean about ‘letting go’. Dirty floors are the bane of my life. But once I read a quote along the lines of “Trying to keep a tidy house when you have young children is like trying to shovel snow from the path in a blizzard.” Thnaks for a sneak peak into your lovely home! The bamboo floors do look amazing.
X Briohny.
Lovely! Your home is so pretty and so organized!! Can you and your hubby come over, maybe spruce up my garage?? Ha ha. Thanks for sharing these things about you, I enjoyed reading it.

Oh man – what I would give for a husband with OCD (however not the sort I suffer from which involves chocolate, hand washing and bad language – actually that last one is probably Tourettes).
Love the photo of you & your son – he sounds like a divine little soul.

Love your little office nook. This is high on my priority list for our next house. I usually drag the laptop down to the kitchen from my office at night if I want to feel part of the action … an area off to the side of the kitchen would be fantastic. Thanks for sharing your lovely home. Have a great weekend. Michelle
Your little one is a cutie!! Love that last photo and love his box car. I think I’ll have to show my husband the photo of your beautifully organized garage :)
You are organised – must make life easier!
Thanks for such lovely thoughts about the boy…Now all we have to do is label all the stuff in the garage so I don’t pull every box out when he sais go get me a powercord;)
man, what a perfect box!!! arrgghh, love cool things working out like that.
and i’m so jealous of your garage, wish mine looked like that! jx
Oh cardboeard boxes are fantastic, we have built many cubby houses from them….we are storage & OCD issues ourselves, it great. Your bed is amazing I cant wait to see the bedsides!!! Have a lovely weekend!!
Oh, I wish I had your organization gene, but it escapes me! Your cherub is adorable!
