One of the things I try to tell people when it comes to space planning is that when you walk into a room you look down not up! Rooms look a lot bigger on the ceiling than they do on the floor, simply due to clutter.
It’s sad but as a result of looking down, the floor and the walls get a lot more attention than the ceiling, so yes! If I were a ceiling I would be getting very jealous!
