TOMBOY Interior Design

I often wonder if I moved back home and went back in time how I would decorate my room.
Maybe even consider how I would decorate all those share rooms I lived in when I first moved out. If I had a different budget and my design knowledge was as advanced then as it is now, how would my room look. I am highlighting my storage, my lounging, my lighting, my bed and bedside, my artwork
and my clothes rack.

This may end up being a sequel to my daughters room in the new house but a great look into how I may have lived in another timezone.

I am sure it would be described as TOMBOY Interior Design. As a kid/young adult my room was my Sanctuary……like my own little house. If I could have had a kitchenette in there I would have never left.

I am an only child, I like my own company, talk when I feel like it and I am close friends with my TV and music so my room was for friends for family, for sleeping, for art and I would move it around every weekend.

……so how would you decorate your tween room for yourself?

  1. In my first house I was always moving around furniture and art and trying to make the most of the hand me down and second hand items I had. This house is the first I have made any drastic changes to, mainly because Im living with a man who is very handy on the tools! But its always been in my blood from the very beginning to work with what I have :)

  2. I am a very prim and proper kind of person probably because my parents used to yell at me when I was younger if they were to find even a speck of dust in my room. Hence, I have set my mentality to have everything neat and tidy and always in place, whether it is in my room or anywhere else around the house. So if you ask me, I would decorate my room to be clean and bright with lots of concealed storage space to keep all the mess in. What you do not see, cannot hurt you right? So there you go… A simple airy and spacious room for me.
