Have you ever seen this type of painting before.

Its the works of a crazy colour obsessed Interior Consultant going by the name of ……….well its me!

I have a few rather large Design Consult jobs at the moment and they are all very very important (because they chose me as their consultant)

I think I was saying something like……I am a little bit busy for pictures right now thanks Husband.

 As usual I am doing all my necessary research to get the front facades perfectly perfect.

If you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a designer coming up with your selections this is as real as it gets.

So with coffee in hand colour swatches, A4 colour sheets and many pots of “whites”I got to work deciding on colours, roof colours, tile colours, aggregate colours and door colours, window trims and garage door colours.

He made me a coffee so I smiled for him, but still too busy for pictures right now, Thanks Husband.

I also played around with some new Colorbond colours one of them is Basalt which is the lighter grey above.

To all the paint companies, and general external option companies…..doors, garages, roof and window companies please can you send me one of every colour of everything you own……it will save me a lot of visits and postal waiting. Thank you.

Narrowing down the selections. 

I always keep the external decisions separate to the internal and then work back or forward from there. In renovations its different again. But this works for me, simply biting off one section at a time and creating a link as you go.

Next will be the selection of internal paint colours to work back with the exterior and then cupboard colours……..But that’s a whole other day and story.
