Starting a Gallery Wall

Left © Jaeyeol Hare       Right © Niki Hare
I have been playing with the idea that we will have a gallery wall in our Dining area where I can add our families personality with some art pieces that talk. That create a feel about our home and who we are.
I have found Artwork I love, that really works and it is available for me to purchase easily online……..
My considerations will be based on
1. The right positioning
2. The right combination of images
3. The right colour use for our style
4. The right Number of pieces
We have earmarked some Graffiti pieces for other areas but the dining wall will house the important addition of “art and stuff”. You know maybe a deer head, a sculpture or a juju hat all mixed in with artwork and photos. We have concrete floors and a slightly global industrial feel happening but I didn’t want that to dictate which artwork we use.
Here are some of my Art choices but I would love your opinions on how you mix your artwork.

Here is A Gallery to buy Art Online, because I know you were wondering where I found these gorgeous pieces.

  1. I really like that first pairing!
We haven’t done much art in our home, but as we are moving (soon, so soon) it is one of the aims for our new home to put more effort into the art and furniture we have around us.
I am toying with the idea of having a themed room – but that might be a bit too much effort – maybe “eclectic” will be my style mantra
