Hanging Chair in my Dreams
I keep dreaming about a time in the future when we are in our newly built home and its finally finished (seriously does that ever happen) and we are sitting on our front deck watching the kids play while we sit back with a drink and look around at what we have achieved. Insert dream sequence where the kids will be laughing and playing beautifully together and nothing in the world will interrupt there joy; reality of someone stealing someone else’s scooter and its my turn for the trampoline will be screamed over at us.
Bring back the dream sequence and My hubby and I are sitting in our hanging chairs on the deck with a drink and looking like we have just stepped over a European Holiday wearing nothing but white linen…..Oh seriously this is getting me nowhere. Lets get in to the reality of how it will go.
The build will be finished and we will be beaten and hagged and tired and ready to collapse and the one thing I keep picturing while the kids play in the sand while we wait for the grass to be laid is me sitting awkwardly in one of those hanging chairs. I loove them and I know Husband will love to see one hanging out the front even though he would never physically sit in it for fear of pulling the whole thing down.
Without any more chatter here is some more of the chair style gorgeousness I have found in the world of hanging chairs………….that could one day be mine.
I want one of these so bad!
I love them too, better plan on more than one though as everyone wants to sit in it! I have the white Zara pod chair which you have pictured here. Unfortunately, although designed for the outdoors, mine developed rust within a month, presumably as we overlook the ocean. The company I purchased it from replaced it but I won’t be re-hanging it outside….when upstairs is complete I’ll hang in the lounge for whale watching! X kl
I love the hanging chairs. I was thinking that what I do for my house balcony and this is great idea.
Thanks for this nice sharing.
