1. I totally agree with you with the idea of living small and clever. Those of us who do not have the luxury of staying in a huge house would simply have to utilize every nook and cranny of our cramped apartment. For me, our focus is more on storage solutions because with 2 toddlers around, things just seem to mountain up every single day. Thus, we have an infinite number of attractive storage boxes to keep the clutters in and we built many storage shelvings and utilize the wall space as much as possible for all the rooms.

2. I think there are too many toilets. I would suggest not having the toilets for bedrooms 2 and 3 as the occupants of those rooms can just share the one at the foyer. After having excess space after the extra toilets are gone, you can then create extra storage space for many stuff. Either a walk-in wardrobe, a rest-and-relax area or even a study corner. Most important factor is to get rid of anything that is redundant as you already have them. Other than that, I think the layout is great, separating the bedrooms from the living area so that people who wish to rest in the bedrooms will not be disturbed by those living and dining outside.
