Seriously easy idea. I got this from here. Grab 2 bookcases and add a slab of painted timber or you can decorate the top however you feel suits you and voila. Great for a craft room or home office.
I love this idea. When its your little ones birthday. Find a place with numbers for them to stand in front of to highlight the Year. Fun for the whole family.

I was only looking at that top idea yesterday myself as I was Googling ‘DIY desks’ :) We’re about to re-do our study and I have visions of a desk made myself with two filing cabinets/drawer units, topped with a piece of stained and varnished timber. Hubby would prefer to find something ready made and thinks I’m crazy :) However, after my search, I’ve discovered that with the help of some little L shaped brackets, my idea isn’t so crazy after all. I love that second birthday number idea too… now just need to find a ‘4’ around here somewhere :) Have a lovely afternoon xx
