Hoopla! Embroidery Hoops Diy Art
I pinned the above image about a year ago and its been the most visited pin on all my boards.
I decided to look further into why I pinned it when I did and what else I could do with Embroidery Hoops and thought I would share with you all, the abundance of DIY projects available with these great
tools of craft.
You can find Hoops online here . Some hoops, like the one displayed, you don’t even have to go through the glueing process. They are made to hold the fabrics. Easy!
Then choose your fave fabric here….and make sure its wider than the Hoop you choose.
But you can really find fabric anywhere when you start looking, I have some beautiful Amy Butler fabric from E bay that was worth every penny.

You will aslo need Glue, Scissors,
Turn the hoop upside down and then glue around the entire inside of the hoop. Then pull the fabric tightly over the top side of the hoop and then press the edges inward firmly against the glue. Let it dry and then trim the excess.
Wall art is obviously our first Hoopla idea.
….and fabric is our colour and pattern of choice…….
But, then there is
…….Silk, it can be used for more of a see through effect.
and hanging them all like this is gorgeous by a window.
Maybe coloured wool or yarn
This is felt with felt decorative flowers as a garnish
Fabric card and paper, but hanging them from the ceiling for a kids room is so cute.
I appreciate all the work that went into the hanging of these, imagine your neck after this.

This is so cool, if you can find a laundry sack and keep it open instead of pulling it tight this is perfect.
