On the Dining bench……Lets see how I blogged in April 2011.
This is what I was doing in April 2011. I love seeing how I blogged and what I enjoyed visually. Check out the styling I was inspired by and then look at how my house has turned out. Granted this post was about another house completely but style wise I was off in a different more classic direction. I thought you would enjoy seeing how time has changed me and my blogging ways. I didn’t even give you large images to view. Oh how times have changed. One thing still remains, I would still love a bench seat dinning area.
So a little update with this post……….

but its not unconditional yet. What does this mean……
Well the house we are purchasing is going to need some personal touches.
1 of these touches is a built in Dining Bench area in the kitchen meals area.
We went over all the scenarios but all the free standing furniture just wasn’t going to work just right.
So research has found me a little excited about the prospect.
An outdoor eclectic feel.
I don’t love the plants but this is probably outside and is perfect for that space.
For me there will be no plants.
But those steel outdoor chairs are awesome.

A little attachment as the side of the kitchen.
Actually quite like this but hubby can’t get his head around it. The style I mean.
I think I could start planting the seed now though and soon it will be his idea and he will love it.
Isn’t that what we all do….
This is probably more our style.
A big timber table running in front of a simple style bench and a touch of classic and modern.

This is how I remember Dining Bench seating as I was growing up very structured
not to much padding and it doesn’t look overly comfy.
BUt who wants confort at breakfast.
Getting closer, the storage underneath is a highlight and the casual style is perfect.
This kitchen is one of my faves in terms of design.
Actaully the colour and eclectic mix of classic modern elements all works in harmony.
Loves to this space.
So do you have any bench seating.

I love all your images, I had to do a project at Design School and the Dining room that has the two seater chair, I used a similar one on my design board. The metal chairs are one of my favourites. Mimi xx

I Love the outdoor dining room. It reminds me of the Ivy!
