Pool Love Escape
This stunning weather we are having has inspired me to look into how we will be finishing off our own pool.
We have just purchased our corner pot and plant.
A stunning aged (looks like its been at the bottom of the ocean for 50 years) urn with side handles and a Cycad to go inside.
The Pool above.
This pool was a concrete shell when my clients gave it to me to finish and tye in with their interior.
We are still to put some timber screens across the back to hide the next door neighbours home.
But all in all it turned out beautifully.
I love these thatch rooms that create a tropical island feel
This pic helped inspire me to try and create an indoor/outdoor room.
I think these areas are becoming more essential to help create that much needed escape from our very hectic lives during the week. We can have an area that’s considered external but with all the comforts of our kitchen/lounge/dining rooms
We are all working longer and harder and our homes are the biggest part of our wind down time, therefor I think we all need a place to relax.
Every ones escape is different but we all need one, it might not be a pool it may just be a simple piece of lawn surrounded by your favourite plants but after the winter being full of sickness and indoor living I think it highlights even more how much we need to relax whenever possible.
You have done a spectacular job on your client’s pool. I will keep you in my thoughts for when we do ours! Mimi x
