Thursdays a few of my favourite things.
A bold Paddington property….
Love the book stack.
Style with conviction.
Hit or Miss?
Sometimes I am not sure if I like something initially yes……then more and more….No!
What do you use your whirlybird for….possibly letting hot air escape from your home….Noway me too.
Love the filing cabinet
I wish I could do eclectic…..its one style I just love but no matter how hard I try it just doesn’t happen in my home. Maybe Hubby has had to much trianing. He would never go for it.
Book art
I really like this idea, I just don’t know I could ever actually cut a book….
Those Library teachers at school really did talk alot about damaging any of the books.
Its stuck…..But I love the idea here.
Love the book art (although, like you, I would feel funny cutting up a book) and adore the eclectic room – yummy! The girl in the brick house.
Love the filing cabinet in the lounge room idea! Do not like the whirly bird lamp thingy … and of coarse I love the book installation! I have no fear of cutting up my books – but they are all damaged in some way – this makes it easier! Thanks for sharing these images. Hope your having a great week. Michelle
Ooh! The idea of the filing cabinet is amazing, I too am afraid of properly pulling off the eclectic look. That whole room is quite stunning isn’t it?? Thanks for your kind comments, if you ever come to Vancouver come visit me!! I MUST make it to Australia one day, I only hear amazing things about it.

Nope, the whirly bird light is just not doing it for me either. Love all the other images though…
I can see that whirly bird lamp working in the right place. I’m thinking open-plan loft with an industrial edge. In that photo the lamp is too out of scale on the spindly side table. It needs room to illuminate.
I just now noticed the filing cabinet! What a great idea! I love this look!
Luvs!
All interesting. I agree with Anita on the lamp. Cheers Katherine
I love these. The books being used as art is beautiful. I know i wouldn’t be able to cut books, however, i guess it’s a great way to recylce old books:-). Happy weekend to you.
