Thursdays a few of my favourite things.
My Bamboo floor in the Lounge area.
Its no secret I love a mixture of textures and styles in a home to add personality and a rustic down to earth realness around your living areas.
One product that stands out to me is Bamboo and as its becoming more usable in different decor items.
Just to add to my love of it texturally it also has these facts attached to it.
So along with some wonderful images I also have some essential facts
Grows well without pesticides and fertilisers.
Fast growing with little water and survives most floods and draughts.
Self Replenishing
Releases a significant amount of oxygen in the air
Will generally grow just about anywhere.

I love a mix of textures, colours and styles too! I’ve always wanted my home to be a bit of a conversation piece and not just be, ‘and there’s the sofa, tv, etc..’
That bamboo ladder is wonderful, I’d love to have that in my living room what a feature it would make!
Love the bamboo flooring, maybe we should consider it for our downstairs area…. to be done in the not too distant future… Love all of the shots you have posted and especially your magazine ladder!
I like your mag rack/towel rail. Very versatile!x
Thanks for the chair advice. I didn’t realise re-upholstering would be so pricey! Love the pics of the pendants..your blog is fab X
And there’s bamboo and cotton knitting ‘wool’ too that feels amazing. Love your bamboo ladder.
