Is it Time.

I have this over sized wall clock that I bought really cheap years ago and have never had just the right place to put it up.
My problem is, it has now followed me through 3 homes and is still not up on the wall.
I had every intention of putting it up here at the new house and it again just didn’t make the cut.
I am worried I am keeping it because I love the style of it but it really is not my style.
Similarly I love so many of the white home styles around currently but its not a style I would implement in my home. I get a lot of inspiration from this look and help clients follow these styles.
So am I keeping this clock just because I can’t bear to part with something from a style I love, even though I will never be able to implement it in the mix I currently have.
What would you do.

A wall of Clocks
I have quickly reviewed my walls and much to my hubby’s dismay I think I have found a spot for the clock….fingers crossed it works…..
My last ditch effort before it goes to a new home.
The clock is fantastic! I hope it works for you on the wall because to have dragged it around to three homes means you must love it and I think you should always try to have the things you love around you! xx
Hmmm…it seems like this is the clock’s last chance. But I totally understand about liking the different styles. I appreciate a lot of elements of French provincial, shabby chic, Boho etc even if it is not in my home.
have you tried outside? look forward to seeing if it makes the cut or is orphaned forever………….

i love the oversized clocks!! the wall gallery of clocks is also a great look! fun too!
Hope it works in the new spot you’ve found as it’s a great piece. I love big clocks, I rang up a homewares store this morning about one I’d been eyeing off in their brochure :)
Oh I love the over sized clock. I hope it works for you. I also love that window clock in the first shot. Keep us posted.
I presented hubby with the idea and I have had no resistance and I gave him 3 options. The other 2 options were not that good so he felt happy about the fact that he thought he had made part of the decision…thanks for all your lovely thoughts.
Hi so pleased you stopped by My Passport to Style!I came at just the right time as I have a big clock fetish, love practical thing’s that are beautiful! Must just add your son is adorable, sadly my batman days are over I have 3 sons the youngest is now 13!Hope to see you again. Sharon xx
I love clocks as wall art. I have a wonderful image in my inspiration file of a living room with very high ceilings that has three large scale clocks over the fireplace mantle. I’d love that look in my own home.
I love your clock so hopefully you will get to keep it, from memory you have a few things in your home to connect it to, like your wallpaper in the entry, your chello & the little patterned boxes in your study. Its hard to blend different styles & even harder to choose just one style…I have myself confused in this department, to much eye candy here in blog world!!! Good luck cant wait for your update!!!
